Veterans’ Voices of Newton is continuing to seek veterans with connections to Newton and the greater Boston area. Veterans may nominate themselves. Family members, friends, veteran organizations, and community members are also welcome to make an introduction. A veteran’s story does not need to involve combat or an unusually dramatic experience. Veterans’ Voices is interested in the full range of military service, including training, technical work, administration, medicine, logistics, reserve service, overseas assignments, stateside service, military relationships, and the transition back to civilian life. When reaching out, please include, when available:

• Veteran's name
• Branch of service
• Connection to Newton or the surrounding area
• Best way to make contact
• A short note about the veteran’s service or why the story should be preserved

Submitting a nomination does not commit anyone to an interview or publication. Ethan will first speak with the veteran, explain the project and its review process, and confirm that the veteran is personally interested in participating.
